Archiving assets

We recommend Archiving files over deleting them, as we can store them safely on the system even when they’re not in use. You never know when you might need to revisit those old files.

There are three ways to do this:

Logged in as admin an on the admin interface (not the portal). If you’re not already on the Assets page click Assets in the menu and navigate to the option where the assets you want to archive or restore:

  • Active
  • Approved
  • Unreleased
  • Expired
  • Unapproved
  • Archived

Now click on the file you want to archive and go to the asset detail page.

On the right click the Edit button here is how you get to the Edit modal which will popover the page. Now scroll down to the bottom and click the Archive or Restore button.

2. Logged in as admin an on the admin interface (not the portal). If you’re not already on the Assets page click Assets in the menu and navigate to the option where the assets you want to archive or restore:

  • Active
  • Approved
  • Unreleased
  • Expired
  • Unapproved
  • Archived

Now drag/star files into the sidebar you want to bulk archive or restore. Once your sidebar is ready take action by clicking the Edit all button and click the Archive or Restore Archives button.

3. Logged as admin on the portal site not the(admin interface). Navigate to where the assets you want to edit are. Now select the file you want to edit and go to it’s detail page. You can click the Edit button to trigger the Edit modal which will popover the page. Now scroll down to the bottom and click the Archive or Restore button.
